Type Locality and Naming

The type section is in Bhareli river section, between Tipi and Main Boundary Fault (MBF).


Lithology and Thickness

Sandstone to claystone. Alternate bands of sandstone, shale and clay. 3800 m thickness of North of Likhabali.

Gradational contact with the Kimi Fm.

Upper contact

Gradational contact with the Subansiri Fm.
